Kelda Fontenot

Lead organizer of My Low Income Life. Kelda brings over 15 years of experience navigating housing <ahem> situations. After suffering a debilitating injury due to dangerous housing, Kelda dove into housing advocacy head first - learning intricacies of affordable housing nobody thinks about, until they have to. A professional musician by trade and current admitted Harvard Extension Pre-Med Program student, Kelda is a passionate advocate with experience in both private and public housing policy, particularly relating to health and wellness.

When she’s not talking about the importance of safe and accessible housing or participating in pro bono zoom conferences, Kelda can be found writing music, studying, traveling, and sleeping.

Mia B

Mia brings over 20 years of experience advocating for both families and individuals finding themselves living a low income life. Mia’s specialties include finding budget resources and living her best (fabulous) life regardless of how much or little income she has. Mia is passionate about protecting the autonomy of all individuals regardless of their amount or source of income and is eager to dispel myths about living with disabilities.

When she’s not creating new recipes or planning her next budget trip, Mia loves volunteering with animals and children, gardening, and nature.
